Position Overview

AlphaHire is currently seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Machinist for an immediate opening with one of our manufacturing partners. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically inclined professional to join a fast-paced production environment and work with advanced CNC-controlled laser systems.

Prior laser processing experience is preferred but not required—we welcome candidates with strong CNC operating backgrounds who are eager to learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently operate CNC-controlled laser systems to execute material processing tasks.
• Apply and develop laser processing techniques to meet production goals and quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to ensure compliance with technical specifications.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by developing new procedures to improve efficiency and product quality.
• Support training efforts and provide technical guidance to peers as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of process parameters, part inspections, and operational performance.
  
  

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience operating CNC equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.
• Strong mechanical aptitude; familiarity with material science is a plus.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing is a plus.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
• Willingness to work occasional overtime as required.
• Effective verbal communication in English.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
