Job summary

EDM Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join a team of professionals.

The role focuses on setup and operation of Hurco CNC Machining Centers, with responsibilities including reading blueprints, generating programs, and optimizing machining parameters. The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of CNC Machining experience and the ability to monitor operations, maintain quality, and communicate status to staff.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, planning sheets, sketches, and related data to plan tooling requirements, setup procedures, machining parameters, and sequences.
• Review setup sheets, quality routing, and specifications to determine setup procedure, machining sequence, and dimensions of finished work piece.
• 5–10 years’ CNC Machining experience.

Responsibilities

• Setup and operate Hurco CNC Machining Centers.
• Generate programs from solid models.
• Determine and adjust machine parameters to maximize efficiency.
• Observe machine operation and monitor machining efficiency.
• Measure work pieces for conformance using inspection instruments and record data when required.
• Communicate with staff regarding procedures and job status.

EDM Technologies is looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team of experienced team. Daily responsibilities will include setup and operation of our Hurco CNC Machining Centers.
We are looking for an individual that has the following qualifications:

• Read and interpret blueprints, planning sheets, sketches, and related technical data to plan and determine tooling requirements, setup procedures, machining parameters, and machining methods and sequences
• Review setup sheet, quality routing, and specifications to determine setup procedure, machining sequence, and dimensions of finished work piece
• Setup and operated Hurco CNC Machining Centers
• Generate programs from solid models
• Determine / adjust machine parameters to maximize machining efficiency
• Observe and listen to machine operation to monitor machining efficiency
• Measure work piece for conformance to specifications, using various inspection instruments, recording data when required
• Communicate with all necessary staff as to procedures and job status

Ideal candidate should have 5-10 years’ CNC Machining experience
