Job description

We are looking for a talented CNC Machinist with expertise in CNC Milling and Turning.

Milling is an essential skill-set, turning would be very desirable.

As a Setter Operator, you will join this well-established family run precision engineering company. Your main responsibilities will include setting up, operating and maintaining CNC milling machines (and lathes) to manufacture high-precision parts and components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC milling machines according to specifications.
  • Interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines.
  • Ensure quality control and inspect finished products for accuracy.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a CNC Miller, Setter Operator.
  • Any CNC Turning beneficial.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

Rate to be discussed at interview.

Overtime is paid after 40 hours per week - Good hours available.
