Job summary

Laborup in East Aurora, NY is seeking experienced CNC Machinists to manufacture aerospace and defense components on CNC mills and lathes, including Mazak Integrex. You will own setups, tooling selections, adjustments, inspection, and production quality with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CNC machining experience.
• CNC milling and/or turning experience.
• Independent CNC machine setup experience.
• Strong blueprint reading skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC mills and/or lathes to manufacture complex aerospace and defense components.
• Independently perform machine setups, changeovers, and job preparation.
• Select, load, change, and troubleshoot cutting tools based on machining requirements.
• Make offsets and process adjustments to maintain dimensional accuracy and part quality.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections to verify components meet specifications.
• Inspect close-tolerance components using precision measuring equipment.
• Interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and requirements.
• Identify and resolve machining, tooling, setup, and dimensional issues.
• Maintain quality and productivity while supporting demanding production schedules.

We’re hiring experiencedCNC Machinistsfor our precision aerospace and defense manufacturing facility inEast Aurora, NY.

You’ll manufacture complex, high-precision components onCNC mills, lathes, and multi-axis equipment, including Mazak Integrex machines. We have opportunities across both milling and turning, with a significant portion of our current hiring focused onCNC milling.

This is an experienced-level machining opportunity for someone who can independently contribute in a precision manufacturing environment. We’re looking for machinists with strong setup, tooling, blueprint reading, and troubleshooting capabilities who are comfortable producing tight-tolerance components with limited supervision.

Compensation

• $32-$37/hrtypical range for experienced machinists
• +$2/hr 2nd-shift differential
• Approximately45-50+ hours per week
• Overtime paid after 40 hours
• Relocation assistancemay be available for highly qualified candidates

Shift

• 1st and 2nd shift available
• Monday - Friday
• Majority of current openings are on2nd shift
• Overtime and occasional Saturday opportunities based on production demand
