Job description

Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a self driven CNC Machinist in Duncan. In this manual machinist role, you will be responsible for operating and trouble-shooting mills and lathe machines. Apply today if you meet the qualifications listed below.

In a CNC Machinist job you’ll be responsible for:

• Blueprint reading.
• Editing and Programming.
• Operating Manual mills and lathes.
• Calipers and Micrometers.
• Setting optimal parameters for machining process.
• Selecting the appropriate cutting tools.
• Calculate measurements, dimensions and tolerances.
• Inspect material to ensure it meets quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and adjust the machines speed, tooling and/or cutting style to fix issues.

What you’ll need:

• 3 years prior experience as a CNC Machinist.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Technical and mathematical skills.
• Knowledge of materials.
• Attention to detail.
• Experience with machine troubleshooting.
• Experience operating manual mills and lathes.

Shift and Work Schedule: 2nd shift 3:00pm-11:30pm Monday-Friday

Pay Rate: $23-$30 depending on experience, with a $2.00 shift differential.
