Job summary

Mach3 Machining in Ohio seeks an experienced CNC machinist to join our precision, one-off and large-scale parts shop. You will set up and operate HAAS mills, review blueprints, load and edit G-code, and perform first-piece and in-process inspections.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of CNC machining experience with hands-on HAAS mill setup and operation.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
• Working knowledge of G-code and M-code (programming experience a plus).
• Experience machining alloy steel.
• Detail oriented with safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate HAAS CNC mills to produce precision components from alloy steel and specialty metals.

• Load programs and make routine G-code and M-code edits; adjust tool and work offsets as needed.

• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and setup issues independently.
• Perform daily start-up, clean-up, and routine preventive maintenance.

What You'll Do

• $3,000 sign-on bonus (paid quarterly throughout the 1st year of employment)

Requirements

• 3 – 5 years of CNC machining experience required
• Programming knowledge preferred
• Giddings & Lewis CNC 800 Control experience desired
• Fork-lift experience required.
• Good knowledge of and experience working with steel.
• Layout and light welding previous experience required.
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints & BOM’s.
• Detail oriented, demonstrated high level of accuracy and to work safely.

Physical Requirements

• Position requires physical capability which includes standing most of the time, some lifting up to 25 to 50 pounds, and pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching as needed.
• Standard shift is ten hours per day, with Steel-toe boots and safety glasses required.
