You will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC machines, producing precision parts to exact specifications. Job Details

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain CNC machines, including Haas mills and lathes, to produce precision parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine machine setup and production sequence.
• Measure and inspect parts using precision measurement tools to ensure they meet specifications.
• Calibrate and adjust machines and equipment to maintain accuracy and ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines and equipment to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
• Follow quality control procedures to ensure the production of high-quality parts.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to improve processes and efficiency.
• Adhere to all safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Post-secondary education in machining, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient with Haas mills or lathes and familiar with other CNC machines.
• Strong knowledge of precision parts manufacturing and tooling.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience with precision measurement tools and equipment calibration.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve machine and equipment issues.
• Familiarity with quality control procedures and standards.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be physically able to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
• Understanding of GD&T
• Adherence to ISO 9001 requirements & safety protocols.
