Responsibilities

  • Program CNC machines using Mazatrol and CAM software.
  • Set up mills/lathes and run first-piece/production lots.
  • Inspect parts to GD&T specifications using calipers, micrometers, gauges.
  • Monitor tooling and cycle times; optimize processes.
  • Document programs and setup instructions; maintain records.
  • Collaborate with programmers and engineers on improvements.

Ketchie makes it easy for American manufactures by investing in machining technology, people, and processes so that they can focus on what they do best and have confidence in their supply chain.Ketchie Inc. is an AS9100 certified facility with capabilities that include collaborative robots, pallet automation, 5-axis machining, turning, milling, broaching, EDM, grinding, and gear cutting.Position Summary:The Machinist is responsible for programming, setup, operation, and inspection of precision CNC machined components to meet quality and production requirements. This role develops efficient machining programs, prepares machines for production, and ensures parts are manufactured safely, efficiently, and to specification.
