Schedule & Compensation

• Days: 10‑hour shifts starting between 5 – 6 am
• Nights: start at 5 pm; 25 % night shift differential
• Weekdays: 8 hrs or 10 hrs
• Mon‑Thu: 10 hrs or 12 hrs

Position Summary

CNC Machinist. Using your experience, set up and prove out programs on 4‑ or 5‑axis CNC milling machines and machining centers to machine complex parts from various metals and composites to meet the tight tolerances required in the aerospace and defense industries.

Responsibilities

• Work from routed instructions, manufacturing process plans, blueprints, and verbal instructions under moderate supervision.
• Plan and make set‑ups using needed tools for the CNC program per the set‑up sheet.
• Use a variety of hand‑held measuring instruments.
• May write programs, download, and upload programs at the machine.
• Complete accompanying routers as operations are successfully finished before moving on.

Qualifications

• High school or career machine trades program is preferred.
• G&M coding experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and working knowledge of GD&T.
• Mechanical and spatial aptitude.
• Must have own tools.
