Job summary

Brightpath Associates LLC is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to operate milling/boring/turning machines equipped with FANUC controls to machine castings and forgings into precision components for demanding customers.

You will read blueprints, set up basic tooling, monitor tolerances, perform inspections with precision measuring tools, and work safely to meet quality standards. Strong English communication and 5+ years of CNC experience with FANUC are preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
• Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, and specifications.
• Perform precision machining operations while maintaining close tolerances and surface finish requirements.
• Complete basic machine setups, tooling changes, and necessary adjustments.
• Run multiple machines when production needs require.
• Inspect finished parts using measuring instruments and quality inspection tools.
• Verify product conformance to customer and engineering specifications.
• Follow all company safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support production goals and perform additional duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of CNC machining experience, formal training, or a combination of both.
• Experience operating CNC machines with FANUC controls.
• Knowledge of machining techniques, tooling, light setups, and CNC machine operations.
• Experience machining castings, forgings, and close-tolerance components.
• Basic computer skills.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
