Job summary

Compensation

Minimum starting pay $30.96 - $32.24 per hour, depending on job assignment. 2nd and 3rd shift positions receive $1 per hour shift premium. Wage adjustments every 90 days. Benefits begin after 60 days.

Shift Schedule

• First Shift: 6:45 am – 2:45 pm
• Second Shift: 2:45 pm – 10:45 pm
• Third Shift: 10:45 pm – 6:45 am

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up and operate any/all of the following: Manual Lathe, Manual Mill, NC Lathe, NC Mill, Machine Cells, Fork Truck, Stand Up Truck, hand tools, or other miscellaneous equipment required by the manufacturing process.
• Execute operational details from drawings, routing sheets, set up sheets, CNC programs, and standard work instructions.
• Check the condition of tooling/performance for best results.
• Follow documented safety guidelines and procedures.
• Adhere to quality expectations.
• Must be able to work mandatory overtime as needed.

Education and Experience Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate Degree or CNC machining (metal products) technical certificate preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in industrial manufacturing environment required.

Other Special Requirements

• Ability to use gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Properly align, secure and remove part fixtures, attachments and materials onto machines.
• Check machined parts to paint with designated measuring devices such as micrometers, CMM, manual/digital calipers, plug gauges, indicators or equivalent tools.

Work Environment Requirements

• Stand for extended periods up to 10 hours per day.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 70 pounds periodically.
• Ability to move within office and manufacturing complex, write by hand and keyboard.
• Ability to communicate by speech and hearing via phone and in person.
• Visual acuity needed for close detail work and computer use.
• General manufacturing, warehouse and office environment; exposed to any number of elements, but none continuously present to the extent of being disagreeable.
• Certain positions may require access to controlled goods and technologies subject to ITAR or EAR; applicants may need to be U.S. Persons.
