CNC Machinist - Canton, Ohio - JOB 440-25-01244

Salary Range: $21.00 - $30.00/HR | Permanent Position with Benefits

Night shifts available: 11 PM to 7 AM

Job Description

A manufacturing company in Canton, Ohio is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist capable of setting up, programming/editing, and operating various CNC lathes and milling machines.

Requirements

1. High school diploma, GED, vocational, technical, or trade school training, or higher education with at least 2 years of experience on finishing lathes and 2 years on milling machines.
2. Ability to read blueprints, sketches, schematics, GD&T, and follow verbal and written instructions.
3. Preferred certifications include Journeyman Machinist or industry-specific certifications (e.g., Haas, Mazak, Fuji).
4. Experience in programming and editing Lathe CAM programs.
5. Strong computer skills with knowledge of CAD/CAM software and ability to read G Code.
6. Good math skills, including converting decimals to fractions.
7. Ability to set up, program, edit, load materials, change tooling, operate CNC machines, and inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
9. Must pass a criminal background check and a 10-panel drug screen.
