Pro Resources Inc. is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist in Avilla, IN. The ideal candidate will independently set up, program, operate, and troubleshoot CNC mills and lathes, with strong G and M code knowledge and GD&T understanding.

You will read blueprints, select tooling, and verify parts with micrometers, calipers, and CMM equipment. Safety, quality, and accurate production records are essential as you work in a small, two-person department.

Formación

• Experience with CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Strong understanding of G & M codes.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and GD&T specifications.
• Experience with machine setup, tooling changes, and troubleshooting.
• High school diploma or equivalent; CNC certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Set up, program, operate, and monitor CNC mills, lathes, and machining centers.

• Select, install, and maintain tooling, fixtures, and materials.
• Use precision measuring instruments to verify part specifications (micrometers, calipers, CMM).
• Troubleshoot machining issues and adjust to improve quality and efficiency.
• Identify and correct lathe-related issues such as vibration, tool wear, spindle misalignment, and bearing problems.
• Maintain accurate production records and follow safety and quality procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Pro Resources is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for a client in Avilla, IN. This position is ideal for a skilled machinist with strong CNC mill and lathe experience who can independently set up, program, operate, and troubleshoot machines. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of G & M codes, machining processes, and precision measuring tools.This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on machining, problem-solving, and producing high-quality components in a specialized manufacturing environment.

Schedule & Compensation

• Monday-Thursday: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Overtime on Fridays as needed: Typically 6:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• Pay starting at $23 / hour

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, operate, and monitor CNC mills, lathes, and machining centers.

Qualifications

• Previous CNC mill and/or lathe operating experience in metal fabrication or industrial manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of G & M codes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications.
• Experience with machine setup, tooling changes, and troubleshooting.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CNC Machinist certification preferred.

Additional Information

Small, two-person department requiring someone comfortable working independently. Experience in fan, blower, or industrial manufacturing is a plus. Must be able to stand, walk, and reach throughout the shift. Ability to regularly lift 45-60 lbs; lifting equipment is available. Required PPE includes safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toe boots.
