Job summary

NOV is seeking a CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC machines ensuring parts meet quality and production standards. You will monitor machine performance, interpret blueprints, and inspect finished parts with precision tools, while upholding safety and production excellence.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of CNC experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Veterans are welcome and valued at NOV.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years CNC machining experience with ability to independently perform setups and program edits; 5+ years preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings; use precision measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

  • Run production lots and communicate effectively with team members regarding job status and output.
  • Perform routine machine shop operations, including setup, operation, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Identify and report defective materials or nonconforming parts to management.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, including proper removal of metal shavings and debris.
  • Follow all company quality standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Actively participate in safety programs and adhere to all HSE requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
