Job summary

Premier Work Support currently seeks a CNC Machine Operator to join the machining department in Medway Towns. Temporary with potential for permanent after a qualifying period, working 48 hours per week from 06:00 to 18:00, Monday to Thursday.

Responsibilities include CNC Turning/Milling, Manual Turning/Milling, Drilling, and processing castings to drawings. Data entry in the Aventa system and strict safety practices are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or machining is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions and drawings.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in a team and independently when required.
• Physically capable of manual handling tasks and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Process castings in machining, including CNC Turning, CNC Milling, Manual Turning and Manual Milling, plus drilling.
• Process parts according to engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Inspect machined parts to ensure quality standards and perform first-off checks.
• Carry out manual handling duties and record work in the system.
• Operate touch-screen bookings and log job cards, maintaining COSHH compliance.
