Qualifications

• CNC Machining experience.
• Related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Machine operation in auto and manual cycles per the certification and/or work instructions.
• Manual loading and unloading of production machines and part containers.
• Use of various gauges to measure product characteristics.
• Follows established standard operating procedures.
• Collects, records, and analyzes part quality data as required.
• Complies with QS 9000 / IATF 16949 requirements.
• Meets production schedules as defined.
• Assists in machine set-up and conformance to specifications.

Skills

Understanding of tolerances limits

Basic understanding of industrial machines and gauges

Familiar with lean production concepts

Knowledge of metric measurement systems

Knowledge of basic mathematics skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

Ability to perform repetitive operations

Ability to read and write English

Ability to read and understand component drawings

Education
