Job summary

Hartwig, Inc. is seeking a CNC machine tool Sales Engineer to drive growth in Oklahoma City. You will build and maintain relationships with existing customers while developing new business opportunities and ensuring customer satisfaction through project execution.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical/technical aptitude, 5+ years of outside industrial sales experience, and a proven ability to manage long sales cycles with a consultative approach. Travel may be required occasionally.

Qualifications

• 5 years outside sales experience, preferably in industrial sales.
• Mechanical and technical aptitude.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, such as collaboration, listening, respect and work ethic, which lead to lasting and trusting relationships.
• Project and time management skills with excellent attention to details.
• Familiarity with sales CRM software.
• Competitive drive, strong initiative, and goal-oriented focus.

Responsibilities

• Sells CNC machine tools and engineering services by meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Develops knowledge of machine tool products and services.
• Builds relationships with customers in industrial manufacturing to identify production needs.
• Keeps informed on competitor products and services.
• Identifies customer needs and presents solutions.
• Manages projects with applications and service engineers from installation to post-run performance.
• Maintains ongoing communication between internal team and customers.
• Collaborates with engineering and sales support.
• Occasional overnight travel within assigned territory.
