Wabtec is seeking a Machinist to set up and operate CNC machines including mills, lathes, lasers, and robotic welders. You will interpret blueprints, measure parts, and ensure quality and safety in a fast-paced environment.
The role requires an associate degree or equivalent, basic blueprint reading, and reliable problem-solving abilities. You will document production, perform preventive maintenance, and participate in safety programs across shifts.
Must be able to Set-Up and operate Two different types of machines VMC's, HMC's, TMC's, Co2 Lasers, Fiber Laser, Break Press and /or Robotic Welders. Produces machined parts by setting up, and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.
Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires basic understand of blueprint reading, leadership capability and ability to solve problems.
Salary Range - $25.00 - $28.00
Our job titles may span more than one career level. The salary rate for this role is currently $23-$28. The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
