Job summary

Janicki Industries, an innovative aerospace company in Hamilton, WA, seeks a CNC Machine Programmer to plan machining sequences for 3-5 axis tools and fixtures. You will design 3-D models and tool paths using Unigraphics NX and collaborate with process engineers to ensure quality and efficiency.

Applicants should have 5+ years of NC programming experience for 5-axis mills, an engineering or engineering tech background or equivalent, and the ability to obtain a US security clearance.

Qualifications

  • Engineering or engineering technology degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum requirement is a High School Diploma or GED.
  • 5+ years' experience as an NC programmer programming 5-axis mills preferred.
  • Experience using Unigraphics/Siemens NX software preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Determines methods, cutter types and cutting parameters depending on a variety of materials (composites, epoxies, steel, aluminum, etc.) and design specifications
  • Designs 3-D computer models, drawings and specifications for fabrication of fixturing elements
  • Creates 3-5 axis tool paths utilizing Unigraphics CAD/CAM software
  • Provides input in production tracking software.
  • Works with process engineers on planning of manufacturing process to ensure that quality and design objectives are achieved.
  • Creates shop documentation for setup of the machines complying with ISO 9000 standards.
  • Analyzes laser-tracking data to assure quality of the setup, when applicable.
  • Works with the machinists to make sure setup and machining procedures are followed.
  • General knowledge of standard G-Code language, machine offsets, and part locating

Description

Janicki Industries is an innovative, family-owned aerospace company located at the foot of the Cascades. We focus on engineering and manufacturing complex projects for companies in the aerospace, defense, and space industries. We are looking for a CNC Machine Programmer to join our growing team.

This position is located on-site in Hamilton, WA.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The CNC Machine Programmer plans machining sequences and fixturing for 3-5 axis machine tools.

The following essential job functions are performed as an CNC Machine Programmer:

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Due to our ITAR and EAR regulations, applicants must be a US Citizen or of Legal Permanent Resident Status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b (a) (3).
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). Janicki will assist with gaining this access once employed. Special Access Program or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position and requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  • Wage range for this role is between$27 - $58an hour plus a discretionary bonus, 401(k) matching, vacation, and health benefits. Employees can also receive additional pay for off-shifts, off-site work, and access pay. The range provided is Janicki’s estimate of the base compensation for this role. Actual amount offered will be based on job-related and non-discriminatory factors such as experience, location, education, training, skills, and abilities
