Job summary

Spectrum Industries, Inc. is seeking CNC Machine Operators to join the Panel Processing team. You will operate CNC and other production equipment to manufacture wood and laminated panel products, four 10-hour days per week.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 6:00am – 4:00pm with a paid lunch break. Pay: Up to $27.22 per hour, starting at a rate based on experience and qualifications. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and six months to one year of related experience, or an

Qualifications

• CNC operating, setup, tooling, troubleshooting, or program-adjustment experience is valued.
• Six months to one year of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Performs minor setup and adjustment functions on the machine.
• Mounts, installs, aligns, and secures tools, attachments, fixtures, and work pieces on machines using hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
• Measures dimensions of finished work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Adjusts machine feed and speed and changes cutting tools as needed.
• Stops machines to remove finished pieces or change tooling.

Work four 10-hour days in a CNC-focused manufacturing environment. Spectrum Industries, Inc. is looking for CNC Machine Operators to join our Panel Processing team. This position operates CNC and other production equipment to manufacture wood and laminated panel products.

If you have prior CNC operating, setup, tooling, troubleshooting, or program-adjustment experience, we want to recognize the skills you already bring to the table- even if your previous job title was different, such as Machinist, CNC Operator, Setup Operator, or Machine Operator.

Your experience may qualify you for placement above the starting hourly rate. We evaluate your experience and skills to determine where you fit within our pay range.

• Performs minor setup and adjustment functions on the machine
• Mounts, installs, aligns, and secures tools, attachments, fixtures, and work pieces on machines, using hand tools and precision measuring instruments
• Measures dimensions of finished work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments, templates, and fixtures
• Adjusts machine feed and speed, changes cutting tools, or adjusts machine controls when automatic programming is faulty or if the machines malfunction
• Stops machines to remove finished work pieces, or to change tooling, setup, or work piece placement
• Manually lifts work pieces to machines, or with the assistance of a lifting mechanism to load and unload machinery
• Verifies conformance of finished work pieces to specifications
• Records and submits accurate work time and job functions on daily time documents and routing sheets
• Other duties as assigned
