Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in CNC operation.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.
  • Proficient in reading G and M code.

  • Document in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments.

Job description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

* Work from process operation documents to setup, adjust and operate CNC Mills including Mori NV5000 vertical mills, OKK600 pallet changing horizontal mills, and OKK500 pallet changing horizontal mills.

* Perform and document in-process inspections during production by using a variety of gages and other precision measuring instruments.

* Read G and M code along with blueprints to verify process accuracy when needed.

* Work with Manufacturing Engineers and/or CNC Programmers to prove out new processes, tooling, and fixtures; provide input to optimize machining processes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Education requirements: High school diploma or equivalent.

* Experience: One to three years minimum.

* Physical requirements: Ability to lift up to 15 pounds on a frequent basis; may lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.
