Job description

Massie Manufacturing, Inc., a state-of-the-art welding and fabrication specialist, seeks experienced CNC Machine Operatorsto join their team inBaraga, Michigan. The Machine Operator is responsible for effective operation of CNC equipment to ensure quality products are produced in a timely manner.

  • Full-time position: Monday-Thursday 6am – 3:30pm, Friday 6am – 10am.

What You Will Do:

  • Maintain effective equipment operations to meet customer demand and provide on-time delivery.
  • Competently operate CNC equipment to produce parts in accordance with customer requirements and specifications.
  • Operate a forklift; training provided.
  • Take ownership of organizing and cleaning specified work area.
  • Take initiative to help other production areas as needed.
  • Communicate with the Leadership Team when necessary.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Self-motivation and strong work ethic, required.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience with operation of CNC equipment or having completed a formal manufacturing technology or similar program from a recognized technical school/institute, required.
  • Read and understand prints and instructions.
  • Read and utilize precise measuring equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to solve problems.
  • Ability to balance a sense of urgency while maintaining quality and efficiency.
  • Someone able to follow business policies and safe work practices.
