Job summary

Recruiting Solutions in Columbia, SC seeks an experienced CNC Machine Operator to run and set up CNC and conventional machines for metal cutting and precision machining. You’ll perform changeovers, tooling offsets, and coordinate offsets, while inspecting parts to spec.

Applicants should have 2+ years of CNC machining experience, strong measurement skills, and the ability to read technical drawings and production instructions. Haas equipment is in use onsite.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years CNC machining experience.
• Hands-on experience cutting/machining metals.
• Experience with machine changeovers, tooling offsets, and coordinate offsets.
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings and production instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple CNC and conventional machines used for cutting and machining metal components.
• Perform machine changeovers, fixture, tooling, and program changes.
• Make CNC tool and coordinate offsets and monitor tooling throughout production.
• Operate multi-axis CNC equipment and multiple machines simultaneously.
• Use precision measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMMs) to inspect parts.
