Job Description

Daily Tasks Include:

• Operate computer numerical control machines to fabricate parts.
• Load and unload materials onto the machine
• Detect malfunctions in machine operations such as worn or damaged cutting tools
• Load cut parts onto racks, skids, and/or shelves
• Communicate with co-workers regarding productions runs
• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment
• Perform typical machine shop operations.
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to manager or CSF.
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures.

Job Requirements

• Must have experience in the following CNC related duties:
• Power up and power down
• Calling up and entering CNC program
• Complete operator maintenance functions
• Run the machine
• Perform inspection of machined products (including documentation of results).
• Complete and maintain paperwork for parts
• Perform fabrication
• Lift up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to stand on concrete for 8-10 hours a day
• Able to work overtime as needed including weekends
• Must be able to read and interpret drawings
• Follow routers
• Use simple math to perform basic calculations
• Use basic hand held measuring tools.
• Must follow all safety guidelines
• Must wear all required Personal Protective Equipment.
• Must follow Safety and Environmental Polices and Guiding Principles.
