Job summary

System One is seeking a CNC Machine Operator in Butler, NJ for a contract-to-hire role onsite. The position starts at entry to experienced levels with $18/hour to $22/hour plus shift differential, Monday through Friday, with 2nd and 3rd shifts available.

Duties include operating CNCs, interpreting drawings, maintaining quality, and performing routine maintenance. Minimum 2 years of CNC experience, blueprint proficiency, and a solid understanding of CNC programming are required.

CNC MACHINE OPERATOR

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.
• Monitor machine operations, making adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and job orders to determine machine setup and programming requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
• Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality, making any necessary adjustments or repairs.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating CNC machines.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high quality standards.
