Job summary

Curbell in California is seeking a Machine Operator to set up and operate CNC machining centers including mills, lathes, routers and saws to produce parts that meet precise specifications on time.

You will read blueprints, perform dimensional inspections, and maintain equipment with a focus on safety and quality. At some locations you may assist with warehouse duties using SAP for receiving and shipping. The role requires moderate supervision and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 2 years: Experience with various types of saw equipment, including manual saws and CNC panel saws
• Reads and interprets blueprints, sketches, and parts lists; verifies specifications

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate production machinery such as CNC saws, lathes, milling machines, drills, shapers, boring mills and grinders.
• Read blueprints and inspect parts to prints; perform dimensional and visual inspections.
• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs; report issues impacting production.
• Process warehouse tasks using SAP for receiving and shipping; prepare necessary documents.
• Resolve production issues and participate in safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
