Artivion, Inc. in Austin seeks a CNC Machine Operator to set up and run CNC mills, lathes, and surface grinders in a GMP-focused manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; CNC training is a plus.
• Experience setting up and operating CNC mills, lathes, and surface grinders.
• Knowledge of GMP principles preferred.
• Experience with dimensional measurement tools (micrometers, gage blocks).
• Detail-oriented and able to follow procedures.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC mills, lathes, and surface grinders for production.
• Feed materials into CNC and semi-automatic equipment per GMP.
• Monitor equipment to ensure GMP compliance.
• Take dimensional measurements with micrometers and gage blocks to verify specs.
• Complete processing records accurately and legibly.
• Troubleshoot equipment with department leads as issues arise.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery.
• Suggest process improvements to increase efficiency and quality.
• Support production goals and work as part of a team.
