Job description

CNC Machine Operator - C shift - 6am-6pm Thursday-Saturday rotating every other Wednesday

Join PTMW, Inc as a CNC Machine and Press Brake Operator in our pre-fabrication (PFAB) team. This full-time, benefits-eligible role involves setting up and operating hydraulic press brakes to bend, form, and shape metal sheets and plates according to blueprints and work instructions. The position offers 12-hour shifts in a climate-controlled facility, working from 6:00am to 6:00pm, Thursday through Saturday, with rotating every other Wednesday.

Essential Functions
  • Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders for machine setup and specifications.
  • Set up and operate CNC and manual hydraulic press brake machines.
  • Select and install tooling and dies based on job requirements.
  • Monitor machine operations for quality and specifications.
  • Inspect finished parts for conformance to customer requirements using precision measuring instruments.
  • Adjust machine settings to correct errors or enhance quality.
  • Maintain equipment and work area cleanliness.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Assist in other production areas as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge and proper use of measuring devices like calipers, squares, and machinist scales
