Job description

CNC Machine Operator - B shift - 6:00pm-6:00am Sunday- Tuesday rotating every other Wednesday

Join PTMW, Inc as a CNC Machine Operator - B shift - 6:00pm-6:00am Sunday- Tuesday rotating every other Wednesday. We are seeking a skilled individual to operate CNC machines in our climate-controlled facility. This full-time position offers benefits and involves working 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities
  • Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine machine setup and specifications.
  • Set up and operate CNC and manual hydraulic press brake machines to bend, punch, notch, and form metal sheets and plates.
  • Select and install appropriate tooling and dies based on job requirements.
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Inspect finished parts for conformance to customer requirements using precision measuring instruments.
  • Make adjustments to machine settings to correct errors or improve product quality.
  • Maintain equipment and work area cleanliness and safety.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Assist in other production areas as needed.
Qualifications

  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background check, drug screen, physical capacity, and breath alcohol test.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical certificate or degree in Machine/Tool Technology or related field.
  • Experience with aluminum and steel sheet metal fabrication.
  • Programming experience with press brakes.
  • Strong computer and mathematical skills.
  • Experience with CAD/CAM.
  • Knowledge and proper use of measuring devices such as calipers, squares, and machinist scales.
