Job Title: Machine Operator

Salary: $24-$30 per hour

General Description

OMW Corporation is a world-leading supplier of custom-manufactured mechanical parts and assemblies. We serve some of the most exciting companies in the aerospace, commercial launch, electronics, semiconductors, and medical industries. With 28 years in business and rapid growth, we are located in Novato, California, in northern Marin County, just north of San Francisco and southwest of Napa Valley.

Responsibilities

1. Load and operate CNC machines, including computer-controlled mills and lathes.
2. Perform minor part assembly, deburring, and inspection tasks.
3. Make simple adjustments to machine offsets and replace broken tools as needed.

Ideal Candidate

• Has experience operating CNC machines.
• Possesses good mechanical aptitude.
• Is familiar with inspecting and measuring mechanical parts using calipers and micrometers.
• Can make simple machine offset adjustments.
• Is willing to be trained for the role.

Specific Skills Required

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs comfortably.
• Strong mechanical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Comfort with physical labor and hand tools.
• Basic computer skills.
• Effective communication in written and verbal English.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary is based on experience.
