CNC Machine Operator - A shift - 6:00am-6:00pm Sunday-Tuesday rotating every other Wednesday

Join PTMW, Inc as a CNC Machine Operator - A shift - 6:00am-6:00pm Sunday-Tuesday, rotating every other Wednesday. We are seeking skilled CNC and Press Brake Operators to join our pre-fabrication team. The role involves setting up and operating hydraulic press brakes to bend, form, and shape metal sheets and plates according to blueprints and work instructions. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and keen attention to detail, ensuring high-quality finished products. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position with 12-hour shifts in a climate-controlled facility.

Essential Functions
  • Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders for machine setup and specifications.
  • Set up and operate CNC and manual hydraulic press brake machines.
  • Select and install appropriate tooling and dies.
  • Monitor machine operations for quality standards.
  • Inspect finished parts with precision measuring instruments.
  • Adjust machine settings to correct errors or improve quality.
  • Maintain equipment and work area.
  • Follow safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Assist in other production areas as needed.
Required Qualifications
  • Quality-minded and self-motivated
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background check, drug screen, physical capacity, and breath alcohol test
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical Certificate or Degree in Machine/Tool Technology or related field
  • Experience with aluminum and steel sheet metal fabrication
  • Experience programming a press brake
  • Strong computer and math skills
  • Experience with CAD/CAM
  • Knowledge and proper use of measuring devices
