Join to apply for the CNC Machine Operator 3 role at Point Eight Power International.

The overall objective of the CNC Machine Operator, 3rd class position is to engage in activities related to learning how to properly produce parts by operating a CNC machine, ensuring that jobs are completed and shipped as scheduled while meeting quality standards. Consistent and accurate modeling and representing of the Point Eight Power brand, mission, vision, values, and organizational strategy are essential to achieving the organization's goals.

Support the effort of being a best-in-class manufacturer by assisting 1st and 2nd class CNC Machine Operators in operating Punch Press or Break Press machines to cut or bend materials for Point Eight Power products. Responsibilities include:

1. Learning and assisting in retrieving punch lists, parts lists, and CNC programs to create parts per job specifications.
2. Locating, moving, or pulling raw sheet metal materials as per the parts list.
3. Assisting in loading materials onto machines and securing them safely for punching or bending.
4. Learning to select and install appropriate dies, punches, tools, or attachments based on material specifications.
5. Using tools like calipers and protractors to measure finished products for quality compliance.
6. Staging completed parts for the next fabrication phase.
7. Performing scheduled and repair maintenance on machines, including tool maintenance and replacement.
8. Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work area.
9. Performing side operations during machine cycles as needed.
10. Developing skills to advance to a 3rd class CNC machine operator.

This position is classified as an internship with full-time employment, within the management and manufacturing job functions, in the Oil and Gas industry.
