Job summary

Fenner Precision Polymers, a Michelin Group company, is seeking a CNC Machine Operator for the 2nd shift (Mon-Thu 4:30pm-3:00am) or weekend coverage. You will operate CNC lathes and secondary CNC equipment to produce Trantorque parts while maintaining quality and safety standards.

You will inspect parts, read work orders, and follow ISO procedures. The role offers a path to Operator II with increased responsibility within a collaborative, safety-focused manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience (1–3 months preferred).
• Detail-oriented and comfortable using measurement tools.
• Previous CNC operating experience.
• Able to read and comprehend technical documents and work orders.
• Committed to safety and continuous improvement.
• Team player with good communication.
• Adaptable to changing priorities and eager to learn.

• Willing to grow into additional responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathes and CNC secondary machines to produce Trantorque parts.
• Perform preset, set-up, and operation; finish, assemble, and package.
• Perform visual inspection to meet quality requirements.
• Read work orders and follow ISO work instructions after training.
• Maintain 6S clean and organized workspace.
• Promote safety and report unsafe conditions.
• Adapt to shifting priorities and support internal/external customers.
• Collaborate with team and participate in continuous improvement.
• Grow into Operator II with more responsibilities.
