Job summary

IMS Gear Georgia is seeking a CNC Machine Operator for 2nd shift in Gainesville, GA. You will load/unload parts, run CNC machines, and ensure parts meet quality standards.

This role requires attention to detail, basic mathematical skills, familiarity with measurement tools, and adherence to ISO/IATF standards. Qualifications

• 1–2 years manufacturing or machine operator experience
• HS diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Load/unload parts and make basic CNC adjustments
• Inspect parts and take measurements to ensure quality
• Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting to keep machines running
• Track production, manage workflow, and report issues promptly
• Follow ISO 14001, IATF 16949, and 6IMS standards and escalate concerns

What You’ll Do

• Run CNC machines by loading/unloading parts and making basic adjustments
• Inspect parts and take measurements to ensure top-quality production
• Keep machines running smoothly with basic maintenance and troubleshooting
• Track production, maintain workflow, and communicate issues quickly
• Follow safety, quality, and environmental standards (ISO 14001, IATF 16949, 6IMS) and elevate issues as needed

What You Bring

Experience

• 1–2 years in a manufacturing or machine operator role (3+ years is a plus)
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Skills

• Mechanical mindset with the ability to learn CNC processes
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Comfortable reading work instructions and using measurement tools
• Basic math, computer skills, and understanding of the metric system
• Reliable, team-oriented, and ready to show up and contribute

• Fast-paced manufacturing setting with active machinery and production flow
• PPE required (safety glasses and safety toe shoes)
• Team-focused environment where your work makes a direct impact

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull materials with equipment
• Stay active with constant movement, hand use, and standing
• Perform occasional bending, reaching, and kneeling
