Job summary

Alexandria Industries is seeking a CNC Machine Operator for the 1st shift (Mon-Thur 5:00am-3:00pm) in Minnesota. You will load/unload parts, operate CNC machines, and ensure parts meet customer specs and quality standards.

This role emphasizes safety, precision, and teamwork. You will read manufacturing orders and blueprints, perform quality inspections, adjust tools, and support setup and teardown while maintaining 5S and QRM initiatives.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to recognize safety concerns and promote a safe work environment.
• Motivated self-starter with strong communication skills.
• Good math skills and ability to multi-task effectively.
• Strong decision-making and willingness to engage in ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines and perform tasks safely and responsibly.
• Read instructions from manufacturing orders and blueprints to meet specs.
• Perform quality inspections using precision tools to verify parts.
• Use measurement tools and perform tool offset adjustments as needed.
• Assist with setup, tear-down, and basic machine maintenance.
• Follow 5S, QRM, and safety initiatives and communicate with the team.
• Cross-train on multiple machines to expand skills.
