Position Details

Immediate opening for a CNC Machine Operator (1st Shift) in Huntington Beach, CA. Candidates should possess:

• 2+ years of CNC lathe and milling experience
• Ability to read blueprints and use measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Availability to work hours from 7:00am to 3:30pm

Responsibilities

• Machine Operation: Operate CNC equipment efficiently, ensuring proper setup and operation.
• Quality Control: Collaborate with QC team to analyze outputs and implement tracking for quality objectives.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and organize materials and finished products.
• Production Reporting: Keep detailed records of production runs, emphasizing quality and timeliness.
• Safety: Follow safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe workplace.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements.
• Lean Practices: Apply 5S and Lean principles to maintain an organized workspace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree or vocational training preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience operating CNC lathes and mills.
• Experience in a technology-related industry is a plus.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and use measurement tools.
• Strong mechanical, mathematical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with computer systems and ERP is desirable.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive attitude.
• Physical ability to stand, sit, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform related activities.
• Finger dexterity and visual acuity are required.

Compensation

Salary Range: $24/hr
