Job summary

This CNC Machine Operator role requires 5 years of CNC mill experience (4 or 5 axis preferred) and the ability to perform own setups, inspect parts, and follow blueprints with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

  • Five (5) years experience with all phases of CNC Mill equipment operation, 4 or 5 Axis preferred.
  • Must be able to perform own setups.
  • Skilled in the use of indicators, gauges, and plate inspection methods for fixture pick‑up, first article and in‑process inspection of precision machined parts.
  • Understanding of machine tool clearances, fixture offsets, and cutting tool offsets.
  • Knowledge of cutting tool feeds, speeds, and tool life usage.
  • Ability to follow verbal instructions and interpret blue print and quality requirements.
  • Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs.
  • Experience with AS9100, 5S, Lean, Six Sigma and MasterCam a plus.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Must be able to fill out all paperwork related to the job at hand.

Job Description

CNC Machine Operator is responsible for operating 3-5 axis CNC milling machines according to the specified setup sheets to produce the highest quality parts in the most efficient manner while meeting the drawing/planning specification /requirements. This position requires multi-axis CNC experience, strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to work with minimum supervision, and a desire to work in a creative hands‑on environment.

This is the first shift position. (7:00 AM to 3:30 PM).
