Massie Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking experienced CNC Machine Operators to join its welding, machining, and fabrication team in Baraga, Michigan. You will set up and operate CNC equipment to produce precision components, read blueprints, and verify tolerances to ensure customer specifications are met, while maintaining a safe, organized work area.

The role emphasizes quality, efficiency, and teamwork in a full-time, day-shift schedule with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years CNC operating experience or completion of a recognized manufacturing technology or machining program.
• Ability to read and understand welding and fabrication blueprints.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and practical problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC equipment to produce parts according to customer specifications.
• Read blueprints and confirm measurements using precision measuring tools.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Keep work area organized, clean, and safe.
• Operate a forklift after training.

As a CNC Machine Operator at Massie Manufacturing, you operate CNC equipment to produce components for assemblies and weldments, carefully checking your work to ensure every part meets customer specifications. It is hands-on, detail-focused work where quality, efficiency, and getting it right matter every day—and where your skill makes you an essential part of the team.
