You will mount workpieces, start machines, and perform in-process inspections to ensure specifications are met.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of manufacturing experience. The pay starts at $20+ per hour with various shifts available and potential overtime.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret process sheets, blueprints, and sketches to determine operating requirements.
• Mount workpieces securely and start machining operations with precision and safety.
• Perform in-process inspections and spot checks to verify conformance to specifications.
• Deburr finished products, tag nonconforming materials, and move products to designated areas.

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in precision machining, is seeking a dedicated CNC Machine Operator to join their team. As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: CNC Machine Operator

Location: Alexandria, MN

Pay Range: $20+/hour

Shift: M-TH 6am-4:30pm OR M-F 7am-5:30pm

What's the Job?

• Operate computer numerically controlled horizontal lathes, mills, or turning centers to perform machining operations such as turning, boring, facing, and threading.
• Read and interpret process sheets, blueprints, and sketches to determine operating requirements.
• Mount workpieces securely and start machining operations, ensuring precision and safety.
• Perform in-process inspections and spot checks to verify conformance to specifications.
• Deburr finished products, tag nonconforming materials, and move products to designated areas.
