Job summary

Randstad USA in Maple Grove, MN is seeking a CNC Mill Operator to operate 3-4 axis CNC milling centers producing titanium, aluminum, and stainless steel parts for aerospace applications.

The role requires blueprint reading, GD&T proficiency, and periodic inspections. Expect a 2nd shift (4 PM–2 AM); high school is required. Base pay ranges from $50,000 to $65,000 yearly, with standard benefits and opportunities in a precision shop.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Machine Operation: Operate 3-4 axis CNC vertical and horizontal milling centers.
• Blueprint Reading & GD&T: Interpret drawings, travelers, and operation sheets with GD&T understanding.
• Quality & Inspection: Perform initial, in-process, and first-article inspections using precision tools and CMM reports.
• Offsets & Adjustments: Read G-code/M-code and make minor tool offset adjustments as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Machine Operation: Operate 3-4 axisCNC vertical and horizontal milling centers.
• Blueprint Reading & GD&T: Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, travelers, and operation sheets with a strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Quality & Inspection: Perform detailed initial, in-process, and first-article inspections (FAI) using precision hand tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges) and CMM reports to maintain tight aerospace tolerances.
• Offsets & Adjustments: Read G-code/M-code and execute minor work or tool offset adjustments at the machine controller to maintain part compliance.
