Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform work order activities according to production procedures.
  • Load materials into equipment including CNCs, chucker, bar feeders, CNC Saw, and ancillary equipment.
  • Measure and gather parts produced by CNC operations.
  • Start and stop CNC cycles accurately and efficiently.
  • Conduct daily equipment maintenance, including lubrication, fluid checks, chip handling, and scrap removal.
  • Change tool inserts at predetermined intervals accurately and efficiently.
  • Report malfunctions such as equipment failures or damage.
  • Assist in other departments as needed based on training and qualifications.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Technical or Mechanical coursework preferred.
  • 1 to 2 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Experience with CNC machinery and precision measurement tools preferred.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to read blueprints and use measurement devices like calipers and micrometers.
  • Accuracy and tactfulness in dealing with others.
