Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated in Carson, CA, is seeking a CNC Tooling Lead to oversee tooling operations in our CNC machining environments. You will ensure accurate setup, maintenance, and optimization of tooling systems to support efficient production and quality.

You will collaborate with machinists, engineers, and supervisors to troubleshoot tooling issues, read drawings, manage tooling inventory, and drive continuous improvement to reduce downtime and boost productivity.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in CNC machining with a focus on tooling.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
• Strong understanding of CNC tooling systems, cutting tools, and machining processes.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documentation.
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with CNC programming and tooling databases.

The CNC Tooling Lead is a highly skilled professional responsible for overseeing tooling operations within CNC machining environments. This role ensures the accurate setup, maintenance, and optimization of tooling systems to support efficient production. The CNC Tooling Lead will collaborate with machinists, engineers, and supervisors to maintain quality standards, troubleshoot tooling issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Pay Rate: $22.00 - 27.00/hour DOE.
