Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a CNC Tooling Lead to oversee tooling operations in our precision machining environments. You will ensure proper setup, maintenance, and optimization of tooling systems to support efficient production.

You will collaborate with machinists, engineers and supervisors, read drawings, manage tooling inventory, and drive improvements to reduce downtime and sustain quality.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in CNC machining with a focus on tooling.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
  • Strong understanding of CNC tooling systems, cutting tools, and machining processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documentation.
  • Proficiency in precision measurement tools and equipment.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Computer literacy, including familiarity with CNC programming and tooling databases.

The CNC Tooling Lead will collaborate with machinists, engineers, and supervisors to maintain quality standards, troubleshoot tooling issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Pay Rate: $22.00 – 27.00/hour DOE.
