Job summary

Nesco Resource is seeking a CNC Lathe Swiss Operator/Setup Operator in Gilbert, AZ to support production with precise part machining and setup responsibilities.

The role requires reading blueprints, performing first article inspections, and ensuring parts meet print specifications while optimizing cycle times. Safety, accuracy, and teamwork are essential in this on-site position.

Qualifications

• Experience operating and/or setting up CNC Swiss machines.
• Experience with Fanuc controls preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC Swiss machines in a production environment.
• Load raw material and monitor machine performance during production runs.
• Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and comparators.
• Read and interpret blueprints, travelers, and work instructions.
• Make minor tool wear offsets and adjustments as needed.
• Maintain production quality and efficiency standards.
• Troubleshoot minor machine or tooling issues.
• Follow all safety and housekeeping procedures.
• Perform machine setups, tooling changes, and job changeovers.
• Set tooling, load programs, and verify first article inspections.
• Edit offsets and make adjustments at the machine as needed.
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and quality issues.
• Optimize cycle times and improve production efficiency.
• Support operators during production runs.
• Ensure parts are manufactured to print and quality standards.

CNC Swiss Operator

• Operate CNC Swiss machines in a production environment
