Reader Precision Solutions is seeking a CNC Lathe Setup Technician to join our award-winning manufacturing team. You will set up and operate multi-axis CNC lathes, edit CNC programs, and troubleshoot to boost productivity and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience setting up and operating multi-axis CNC lathes
• Experience editing CNC programs to optimize cycle times and quality
• Strong troubleshooting and process improvement skills

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate multi-axis CNC lathes per drawings and specifications
• Edit, optimize, and troubleshoot CNC programs to improve cycles and reliability
• Perform tooling, workholding, and first-piece approvals; maintain documentation
• Conduct advanced troubleshooting to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
• Maintain records of setups, inspections, and process adjustments
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Maintenance, Tooling, and Quality teams
