Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience operating and set up CNC Lathes.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and G-code programming.
• Strong understanding of mechanical drawings, tolerances, and materials.
• Familiarity with Haas controls is a plus.
• Converting metric to standard.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and great attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Haas CNC lathes to produce high-precision components.
• Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files.
• Perform routine maintenance and ensure machines operate safely and efficiently.
• Converting metric to standard for production using US standard machines.
• Develop and optimize CNC programs using G codes and CAD/CAM software.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet safety and performance standards.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Maintain accurate records of machine settings, programs, and maintenance activities.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and provide feedback on process enhancements.
