Jobot is hiring an experienced CNC Lathe Setup Machinist to independently set up, program (conversational or G-code), and operate multi-axis lathes with live tooling in Glendale Heights, IL. The role requires reading blueprints, first-article inspection, and troubleshooting programs and tooling issues.

Location: Glendale Heights, IL onsite on 1st or 2nd shift. 3+ years of setup experience and strong attention to detail are required. Competitive pay and full benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years CNC lathe setup experience.
• Experience with multi-axis lathes and live tooling preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T.
• Experience making program edits or conversational programming.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes (multi-axis, live tooling preferred).
• Load programs and make offsets as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.
• Perform first-article inspections and in-process checks.
• Troubleshoot tooling, program, and machine issues.
• Maintain quality and production standards.
