Job summary

Pacific Staffing, LLC in Wilsonville, OR is seeking a Back CNC Lathe Machinist / Programmer with strong Esprit CAM experience to program, set up, and run prototype and production parts while maintaining high quality and efficiency.

This direct hire position offers a 4-day workweek (Mon–Thu, Fridays off), a pay range of $45.00–$55.00 per hour, and opportunities for growth through collaboration with machinists, inspectors, and leadership.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in CNC lathe setup and programming (prototype and/or production).
• Proficiency with Esprit CAM (or similar software, willing to train on Esprit).
• Strong understanding of tooling, speeds/feeds, and process optimization.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems quickly.
• Experience with aerospace or tight-tolerance machining preferred.

Responsibilities

• Program CNC lathes using Esprit CAM software.
• Set up machines for new parts and perform efficient changeovers.
• Run prototypes and support low- to mid-volume production.
• Read and interpret complex prints, GD&T, and customer requirements.
• Maintain tight tolerances and high-quality standards.
• Collaborate with machinists, inspectors, and leadership to ensure workflow efficiency.
