MRS Machining, a family-owned precision CNC shop in Wisconsin, is hiring CNC lathe machinists for a full-time on-site role with 42–50 hours per week. You will program, set up, and operate CNC lathes, read blueprints, and ensure tight tolerances and high-quality parts in a clean shop.

The ideal candidate has 2 years CNC machining experience, attention to detail, and strong communication. Mazak experience is a plus, and company offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to safely program, set up and operate CNC lathes.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Two years CNC machining experience preferred.
• Mazak experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, adjust and operate CNC lathes to produce close-tolerance parts.
• Read blueprints, routings and shop travelers.
• Use measuring equipment to verify dimensions and maintain quality.
• Monitor tooling and replace worn inserts or cutters.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and communicate concerns to supervisors.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in cross-training.

MRS Machining is a family-owned precision CNC machine shop with 40 years in business. We’re hiring CNC lathe machinists to join our team in a clean, air-conditioned shop with advanced machinery and tooling.

Pay & Schedule

• $22–$36 per hour based on experience
• Additional premium for 2nd shift
• Full-time, 42–50 hours per week
• In-person position

• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Machine Tool diploma or equivalent education and experience desired
• Two years of CNC machining, manufacturing and measuring equipment experience preferred
• Mazak experience is a plus
