Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 3 years of experience operating and setting up CNC Lathes.
Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and G-code programming.
Strong understanding of mechanical drawings, tolerances, and materials.
Familiarity with Haas controls is a plus.
Converting metric to standard.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate Haas CNC Lathes to produce high-precision components.
Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files.
Perform routine maintenance and ensure machines operate safely and efficiently.
Program and optimize CNC programs using G-code and CAD/CAM software.
Adjust cutting parameters and offsets to ensure quality and minimize waste.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet safety and performance standards.
Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges to ensure specs.
Maintain records of machine settings, programs, and maintenance activities.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and provide process feedback.
